It uses ACTUAL recorded violin notes and not generated sound effects. Included playback options of Arco (bowing) or Pizzicato (plucking). Contains the basic tuning of G, D, A and E. Just push the button for the corresponding note. There are settings for playing one note with each click or a continuous loop with silence between to allow you to tune.
